Starting from our house in lake Mälaren we got as far as Stora Nassa, a small island group on the outer part of the archipelago. Not so far really but then we weren't sailing for distance. After enjoying a sunny day there (that was the day in the middle ;) we were chased out during the night by strong winds and ended up in Björkskär, an idyllic island a bit further south. The weather forced us to stay there for a few days longer than planned but that was fine, apart from the good company the boat was also filled with good food, games, and musical instruments. The last day was beautiful - blue skies, sunshine, and just the right wind - we got all the way back to Bullandö in four hours! |
